I've finally made it to DC by now and am loving it. Those pictures will be great, especially after getting some around town photos prior to the State of the Union address. Both Memphis and Atlanta had their good aspects, but contained more historical sites, which have made things a bit more tangible. However, I feel like our meetings with various groups and individuals here in DC and later in New York City will provide better insight into snipets into the US' current socioeconomic position. My photos arent anything great in this section, but I have expectations for what I will see and capture in the next week. Before I sign off, I'll leave anyone who actually reads this with a question that we have been discussing in our debriefing times on this trip: What are the positives and negatives of segregation? Think about it, because I have no answer and if anyone actually does have a good solution, they should run for President because this is a country divided if I have ever seen one.
